Chelsea’s Eden Hazard endorses Okocha Charity Foundation

Chelsea and Belgium forward Eden Hazard has endorsed the Okocha Foundation – an initiative of former Super Eagles and PSG legend Austin Jay Jay Okocha.

At a ceremony which took place at the I-Naira Digital Hub in the Ikoyi area of Lagos, the football legend launched a foundation geared towards giving kids and his ex-teammates a new direction in life.

The former Bolton Wanderers and Fenerbahce of Turkey midfielder in a message on social media confirmed the endorsement of his new foundation by the Belgium captain who failed to lead his team past Wales in the just concluded Euro 2016 championship in France.

“# @hazardeden10 endorses @iamokocha foundation @idashnaira” Okocha tweeted.

I-Naira.com sealed a deal with the former player as the official auctioning partner of the foundation. The company’s CEO, Hillary Nwaukor, said his firm would begin auctioning the superstar’s memorabilia from August 1.

Already the maiden jersey for the launch was sold for a handsome price of N260, 000.

Recently, Okocha also sensationally declared that he could come out of retirement to play for Enugu Rangers or any team that brings the ‘right’ price for him.

Having dazzled in his recent outing during the Yobo Testimonial match in Port Harcourt, Okocha was put on the spot by journalists during the official launch of his Foundation in Lagos on Tuesday whether he could play for Rangers or in the Nigeria Professional Football League in order to help bring more followership to domestic football.
