Auxiliary returns as Oyo NURTW Chairman
A former acting chairman, National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Oyo State Chapter, Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi (Auxiliary) has been reportedly chosen as the new chairman of the union and Alhaji Abideen Olajide (Ejiogbe) as his deputy.
According to a reliable Source in Ibadan decision was reached in an official meeting held at the Oyo state government secretaria, the state capital on Wednesday.
Present at the meeting were Auxiliary, Ejiogbe, Alhaji Nojeeem Yasin, the incumbent National Chairman, likewise the incoming National Chairman was represented at the meeting alongside other officials concerned.
It was learnt that Auxilliary and Ejiogbe expressed their satisfaction towards the decision at the meeting.

Oodua News recalled that the union was proscribed when the APC government lost the election.
The state government took the decision to sustain the peace in the state in view of speculation that members of the union might foment trouble in their scramble for power.
