Ido LG Boss, Hon. Wahab Oladejo Swears In New Caretaker Members
The newly sworn in caretaker members in the thirty-three local governments of Oyo state have been charged to give total cooperation to their respective council's leadership in view of the present economic reality in the state.
This advice was given, unanimously, by the governor of the state, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi and the caretaker Chairman of Ido local government, Hon. Wahab Oladejo, during the swearing in ceremony of the caretaker members in the council's headquarters, Ido.
Represented by the council's Head of Local Administration, HLA, Pastor A. Jimoh, governor Ajimobi, enjoined the newly inaugurated members to work assiduously in their respective wards with a view to bringing governance dividends to the people in their respective domains.
He further urged them not to relent in their efforts adding that each of them should work towards ensuring that the ruling party, All Progressive Congress, APC, record a resounding success in the yet-to-be-scheduled council election.
In his own address, the council caretaker boss, Hon. Wahab Oladejo, remarked that the present economic reality has brought drastic changes to the style of governance at the council level presently but quickly added that the signals emanating from the state recently have shown that things will begin to take a better shape any moment saying that the members need to persevere and endure pending the time the present economic hardship fizzles out completely.
