SALAH CELEBRATION: IDO COUNCIL BOSS SEEKS MUSLIMS COOPERATION WITH GOVERNMENT ECONOMIC POLICY

​As Muslims in Nigeria are joining their counterpart all over the world to celebrate the Muslim festival, Eid-el-Fitri, today, the Caretaker Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Wahab Oladejo, has admonished Muslims in the state to imbibe the spirit of unrivaled perseverance exhibited by Prophet Ibrahim which according to him endeared him to his Creator- Almighty Allah.

This message was contained in a salah message delivered by the Ido born council administrator and which was signed by his media aide, Ayansola Hazeez.

Hon. Oladejo who likened the present situation in Nigeria to the one experienced by Prophet Ibrahim whose exploits culminated into the merry Muslims all over the world are making today posited that just as there was a silver lining for the prophet at the end of his perceived hopeless situation so shall it be for the Nigeria economic situation before the end of the Buhari-led administration.

 He, therefore, charged Nigerians in general and Oyo state residents in particular to cooperate with the government at various levels in their efforts at making Nigerians smiles once again adding that their understanding of government efforts will serve as an impetus to take Nigeria's economy away from its present comatose. He, however, assured them that the APC-led government at both the state and federal level will not shield those who put Nigeria economic prosperity in reverse gear from prosecution just as the government will not relent in its bid to get the country's economy diversified.
