WizKid, Kah-Lo Makes Grammy * Check Out The Complete List of 2017 Nominations

Wizkid, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun was nominated for a Grammy award for his contribution to Drake’s 2016 album in the “Album of the year” category. Wizkid was featured as a producer and guest singer on the lead single, One Dance. Alongside Wizkid was Kah-Lo, a British-Nigerian musician for the song Rinse and Repeat by British DJ, Riton was also nominated for the Best Dance Recording of the year.

On the just released 59th Grammy Awards Nominations in All Categories, last year’s Best New Artist winner Meghan Trainor unveiled the contestants for the marquee categories live on CBS, according to Billboard.com. The field is led by Beyoncé with 9 nominations, followed by similarly huge stars Drake, Rihanna and Kanye West (8 each).

A Grammy Award (originally called Gramophone Award), or Grammy, is an honour awarded by The Recording Academy to recognise outstanding achievement in the mainly English-language music industry.
