Arsene Wenger clarifies what happened in Arsenal dressing room after Bayern Munich mauling
Arsene Wenger has dismissed claims that a row broke out in the Arsenal dressing room after the Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich.
Reports suggested fuming senior Arsenal players were involved in a heated inquest after the 5-1 mauling at the Allianz Arena.
Wenger admits his side were understandably disappointed after conceding four second-half goals to the German giants.
However, the French boss, whose position at the Emirates has been severely questioned this week, rejected reports of internal row.
‘No row, not at all,’ Wenger said. ‘Everybody was disappointed and affected but no incident apart from a huge sadness and disappointment.’
Wenger, who is out of contract at the end of the current campaign, also provided an update on his future in management.
