Footballer saves opponent's life by pulling his tongue out of his throat after collision
A footballer has been hailed a hero after his quick actions saved the life of his opposition’s goalkeeper.
Martin Berkovec crashed into his own defender, Daniel Krch, after leaving the penalty box to collect a ball.

Berkovec then fell to the floor after going limp while playing for Bohemians 1905 against Slovacko in the Czech Republic.
Francis Kone immeditately noticed that something was wrong so went over to help.
He removed Berkovec’s tongue from his throat to prevent him swallowing it.
Berkovec later wrote on Facebook after recovering: ‘I would like to thank Francis Kone for rescue and emergency at today’s game… I’m glad for the relief and thanks again!!!’.
Kone said that he has actually been in the same situation four times and had saved four people’s lives by pulling their tongue to save them from suffocating.
