Ibadan Hosts Top Europe Football Manager, Mira-Perez
The city of Ibadan would play host to one of the top football managers in Europe, Mira-Perez Inaki who is the Chairman/CEO of Barcelona based IM10Sports Management Company with hope of extending his tentacles to Africa, and especially Nigeria that have proven record of abundant talents.
The manager who had discovered many notable players from South America for European clubs is expected to arrive the country on Saturday 11th March with aim of finalizing a partnership deal with Ibadan based soccer outfit, Midtown Soccer School.
Mira-Perez Inaki would also meet with the leadership of Oyo State Football Association, Nigeria Football Coaches Association (Oyo State), Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN Oyo State), and as well pay a courtesy visit to Ministry of Youths and Sports to exchange ideas and share his wealth of experiences in football management with them.
During his stay in Nigeria according statement issued and made available to newsmen by the management of Midtown Soccer School who is his host would also be delivering a lecture at a Seminar tagged "What a Professional Club Want in a Player". This seminar is expected to be widely attended by football stakeholders in the state and managers of NPFL, NNL and non-league sides.
The manager would not leave the country without attending football trials and mini soccer tourney where he can scout for good legs for onward exposure and potential signing to European clubs.
Mira-Perez Inaki in a phone chat said his firm works with South American and European clubs looking for young talent capable of making the leap to professional football. “Our way of working is to analyze championships, leagues, teams and players around the world looking for potential talents”, he noted.
