Muslims donate over £20,000 for victims of London terror attack
A Muslim-led campaign has raised more than £20,000 for those affected by the London terror attack. The Muslims United for London fundraiser was flooded with donations, with £10,000 pouring in less than 15 hours. Final image emerges of murdered hero Pc Keith Palmer Money raised by the crowdfunding page will be donated to support victims and the families of those affected by the atrocities, which saw terrorist Khalid Masood along Westminster Bridge on the afternoon of March 22 ploughing into pedestrians. The attack killed mother-of-two Aysha Frade, 75-year-old Leslie Rhodes and Kurt Cochran, an American tourist in his mid-50s who was in London celebrating his 25th anniversary with wife Melissa, who was badly injured. Muddassar Ahmed, who set up the campaign told Metro.co.uk: ‘The British Muslim community stands with all Britons and Londoners during these difficult times and extends their support in raising funds to help with the immediate, short-term needs of the families of Keith Palmer, the other victims and the families of the victims.
