Oyo State House of Assembly to screen caretaker nominees on Monday - May Be Sworn-In On Thursday.

Following the transmission of list of the newly appointed nominees that will man the thirty-three councils as well as the newly constituted LCDAs in Oyo State to the Oyo State House of Assembly, OYSHA, by the State's governor, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, the state's legislative body has concluded plans to begin the screening of the nominees tomorrow, Monday, April 3rd.

The house in a bid to perform his constitutional role has contacted all the nominees and they had been told to come along with the photocopies of their credentials with a view to ascertaining their suitability for the job.

Meanwhile, the governor of Oyo State, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, is leaving no stone unturned in his bid to ensure that all the nominees resume work fully at their duty posts immediately after they scale through the OYSHA's screening as he has concluded plans to swear in all the Caretaker Chairmen for the thirty-three local governments and LCDAs across the state on Thursday, our correspondent reliably gathered.

According to our source inside the Agodi Secretariat, "this time around, it is work, work and work for these newly nominated care-taker chairmen. The plan of the governor is for them to work very hard within the next six months while working round the clock at finding political solution to the court case which is preventing the state governor from organising the council's poll.

"The state governor is very optimistic that between now and July, he would have resolved the court case amicably which will definitely enable him to organise the highly coveted council poll", he concluded.
