Weird: Meet Brazilian massage therapist who uses Snakes to treat her clients (PHOTOS)
Holistic therapist Sarah Zaad, 43, claims that snake massages help to cure depression and can also help victims of abuse.
Sarah says that she can use up to six pythons and boa constrictors instead of more traditional massage techniques.
“People who have issues with touching and also other types of disorders, such as depression.
"And I have achieved amazing results with this type of treatment, reaching 100 per cent success in all cases I’ve had."
Sarah was taught the unusual technique by a fellow gypsy in Buenos Aires when she was 20.
She adds that the method works because snakes have lots of muscles - so parts of the body you can’t feel during a normal massage are reached. She says: “I am known as the snake queen.
“I do this massage with snakes because it is a beneficial treatment to many people.
Sarah Zaad uses up to six pythons and boa constrictors on brave customers who want to relax or be treated for mental disorders
Sarah says that the snakes follow the rhythms of her dancing.
She adds: "One snake massage is worth 10 sessions of normal massage therapy.
“If I put 20 snakes on someone's body it is like if I've had 20 hands massaging this person.”
Interestingly, Sarah’s main focus as a masseuse is to help women who have been physically abused.
Talking about her clients, she explains: "These women end up being so scared of people, not only scared of their husbands, but they have been through psychological terror.
"For some of my clients they don't let other human beings touch them but they let the snakes.”
One of Sarah’s regulars, Thayna G. Romao Da Silva is just one client who credits the snake massages for helping her through tough times.
She says: "I have been doing holistic massage with Sarah for over five years.
“The massage actually started as therapy for me, but now I do it as a relaxing thing.
