Blood Sunday! How Gunmen Killed Scores of Worshippers In Anambra

It was a blood Sunday at St. Phillips Catholic Church, Ozubulu, Ekwusigo as unknown gunmen stormed the church and killed scores of worshippers.

One of the worshippers who escaped the incident told Glitter News Online that the gunmen entered the church around the 5:45 a.m. during the mass and started shooting sporadically.

“They later went on rampage and shot at the remaining worshippers numbering over 100.” He recalled

The source, however, said the priest of the church was not wounded in the incident.

The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Garba Umar, confirmed the incidence, adding that more details would be given after investigations.
