Riyad Mahrez leaves Algeria camp after offers from Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona
Riyad Mahrez is considering offers from Chelsea and Arsenal but Barcelona have stepped up their efforts to sign the Leicester City winger before the transfer deadline.
Mahrez has been given permission by Algeria’s Football Federation to leave the national team’s camp in order to complete his transfer from Leicester.
In a statement released on Wednesday evening, Algeria’s FA confirmed that Mahrez will travel back to Europe ahead of his nation’s World Cup qualifier against Zambia on Saturday but did not reveal the club he will be joining.
AS report that Chelsea and Arsenal have submitted offers to Mahrez but Barcelona have ‘accelerated’ their interest ahead of their transfer deadline on Friday.
