2019: Oyo AD set to merge with PDP, Accord

Chairman, Alliance for Democracy (AD) in Oyo State, Olusegun Akinropo has stated that Alliance for Democracy is prepared to merge with PDP, Accord and other parties in the states to wrestle power from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) come 2019.

Hon. Akinropo added that Alliance for Democracy had been working and consulting with relevant stakeholders and individuals to achieve the objectives that the party has structures in all local government in the state.

In the coming local government election, he assured that the AD which is referred to as the party of late Obafemi Awolowo who has the cardinal programme of free health, free education, empowerment of the youth and women will make positive impact as the party is well accepted.

The party chairman used the occasion to call on the people of Oyo State to support the party in order to achieve success in the next year’s governorship election.

Akinropo reiterated that Alliance for Democracy is the party to be and therefore called on the supporters and followers to continue working and supporting the party.
