The World Cup qualification play-offs are finally almost over and soon teams will be able to turn their attention to the draw for the group stage of the tournament. Sweden are the latest side to book their spot and with just a few places up for grabs, here is all you need to know about the upcoming draw. England could be placed into a dire group, so prepare yourselves! WHEN AND WHERE DOES THE DRAW TAKE PLACE? Fifa have confirmed the draw will take place on December 1, which is a Friday. The exact time has yet to be decided. The State Kremlin Palace is the venue for the draw. WHO ARE THE TOP SEEDS? England are among the second seeds for the tournament and are in danger of drawing a string of football powerhouses in the group stages. But, the Three Lions will at the very least avoid Spain. Rankings have already decided which pot each team will be drawn from. England are pot two, while Russia go straight into pot one. WHEN DOES THE WORLD CUP TAKE PLACE?
